This letter will acknowledge receipt of your application and confirms that we’re holding a place for you at this summer’s school. We have an excellent faculty lined up and superb special guests including Bible instruction from Chris Stoker (USA East) and music leadership from Paul Sharman (MACA Department, UK and Ireland Territory).
Please read the information below carefully.
In signing the Camp Covenant, you have agreed to the terms and are bound by it. It is also expected that you will take care to maintain an orderly room or cabin during your stay, leaving your area ready for the next guest at the conclusion of camp. Willful damage of property will not be tolerated and costs of replacements or repairs will be at your own expense.
Participation in all aspects of the camp is required from Auditions through to the Final Program. Punctuality is expected. Fatigue is not accepted as an excuse.
Curfew is at 12:00 Midnight. You must be in your own room after that time.
Cabins and rooms are out of bounds to the opposite sex.
Adherence to Salvationist values regarding tobacco, alcohol and drug use is expected for all camp participants.
Please dress modestly and appropriately at all times

Final Program – Summer Uniform
Females: epaulet blouse, uniform skirt
Males: epaulet shirt, uniform trousers, uniform tie
For those who do not wear Salvation Army uniform, please wear:
Females: plain white blouse, black/navy skirt
Males: plain white shirt, black/navy dress pants, black/navy tie
WHAT TO BRING
Bed linens and towels are provided. If you wish to make a trip to the beach, please bring your own beach towel
Band Stream – please bring a music stand, your instrument and if possible, mutes (cornets and trombones)
Worship Stream – please bring a music stand, and your instrument, amps etc…

We are looking for students who are willing to share their talents with us on Talent Night. Ideas include instrumental or vocal solos, ensembles, drama items etc… If you are interested in participating, please bring your music with you (including the accompaniment. CD accompaniments are not permitted).
The Midweek Program will take place in the Jackson’s Point Shoreline Auditorium on Wednesday August 29th at 8:00PM.
The Final Program will take place at Scarborough Citadel (2021 Lawrence Ave E, M1R 2Z2) on Saturday September 1st at 3:30PM. Bus transportation will be provided from Jackson’s Point to Scarborough.
REGISTRATION AND AUDITIONS
Saturday August 25th 9:30AM to 3:00PM
It is often problematic when students do not arrive in time to complete the registration and audition process. If you are not planning to arrive in time, please let us know. You MUST have prior written permission to miss registration and auditions. Otherwise your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list.
After registering, please procced to your specific audition location immediately. Please note that after you complete your audition, you have free time until dinner, so please plan your arrival accordingly. Late registrants will be assigned a Main Stream placement at the discretion of the Main Stream directors.
Audition music for Band Stream is below.
Vocal Audition music is below. This is for ALL students. EVERYONE participates in a mixed chorus. This is NOT optional. You must complete a vocal audition by 3:00PM on registration day. Music in two keys is below – choose the lower or higher key, whatever is best suited to your voice. Students interested in “A Chorus” are encouraged to bring an audition piece of their choosing.
Worship Stream participants should be prepared to sing/play something at their audition that is representative of their level and ability.
There will be ONE bus departing on Saturday August 25 from Pearson to JPCC. The bus will depart promptly at 12:00PM. If this option does not work within your schedule, you will need to make your own arrangements to get to the camp.
If you require this form of transportation, please make sure you added the transportation fee at the time of registering online. There will also be a bus departing directly after the Final Program to Pearson Airport, free of charge, should you require transportation after camp is over.
DIRECTIONS TO JACKSON’S POINT CONFERENCE CENTRE FROM THE TORONTO AREA
Take HWY 404 to the end – turn LEFT onto Woodbine
Just past Keswick, stay to the RIGHT at the big curve (now you’re on Baseline Rd)
Turn LEFT at Kennedy Rd (just past York Regional Police Station)
Turn RIGHT at the first stop sign (Metro Rd)
Turn LEFT into The Salvation Army Jackson’s Point Conference Centre (just past Georgina Corps)
Please park in the lot just off the entrance. Refrain from parking in the limited spots directly outside the Conference Centre. Thank you!
