Spryfield Community Church presents...

May 31, 2012 Add comment

The Salvation Army Spryfield Community Church is hosting eleven young women from the Elevate Dance Company, a Christian dance troupe from London, England.  Elevate communicates the message of the Gospel through dance - ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop, to name a few. One of Elevate's dance members, Jalienne Li, is well known by a number of Salvation Army Maritimers, as she comes out of The Salvation Army Moncton Citadel and also spent her university career soldiering at Halifax Citadel.

On Saturday morning June 9th 2012, 10 a.m., Elevate will be hosting a workshop at The Salvation Army Spryfield Community Church, 328 Herring Cove Road in Halifax Nova Scotia (Canada).  The workshop is for adults, both male and female, who would like to know more about how to incorporate dance into worship.

On Saturday evening June 9th 2012, 7:30 p.m., Elevate will be performing, again at Spryfield Community Church, in an event open to the general public.  There is no admission fee for this, just a free will offering.
