The Salvation Army has declared May to be Dignity Month.
“Dignity Speaks” is a national event that will be held at The Salvation Army Toronto Harbour Light, 161 Jarvis Street (at Shuter, north of Queen Street) on Sunday, May 15th. Doors open at 8:00 p.m.
This evening will entertain, educate and inspire people to respect the rights of the addicted, the homeless and those who have met with hard times. Hosted by the voice of the Toronto Raptors, Herbie Kuhn, guests will include the Juno award-winning group Downhere; Hark the Herons; Colonel Floyd Tidd, Chief Secretary of The Salvation Army in Canada; and much more.
Tickets are $15 (taxes and fees included) and can be purchased online using all major credit cards. Purchases are limited to 10 tickets per person.
Tickets purchased on or before May 1 will be mailed to the purchaser at the address provided. Tickets purchased after May 1 can be picked up on the day of the event; photo identification and purchase confirmation will be required.
